The Training Course "Non Formal Education in Formal contexts of learning: a successful encounter" (Chieti, 20 - 29 November 2019) aim to improve/develop competences, approaches and practical tools to plan and realise non Formal Education activities within formal context of education such as schools and Youth Council. The project represents the follow up of a previous international project (2018-1-IT03-KA105-0132297, Evaluation, assessment and recognition in Non Formal Education) and would like to answer to the educational needs expressed by those who work daily with young people (educators, social and youth workers, volunteers) to create a better link between Non Formal and Formal Education. The idea of the project is to generate a positive contamination of approaches and methodologies able to support young people in their development (cultural, social, economical). At the same time it can represent an added value for organisations to enhance their level of intervention to contexts different from those in which they usually work. Objectives of this project have been shared and elaborated by all partners and they are: - to train youth workers, youth leaders, responsible of youth centres and youth organisations on how to use Non Formal Education methodologies, approaches and techniques in Formal Contexts of education/learning; - to share information, good practices and practical application at European level of Non Formal Education methodologies in Formal Contexts of education/learning; - to realise different communication materials (stop motion video, postcards, brochure, etc.) able to explain main concepts of NFE in an easy and understandable way in order to properly approach young people, students and other school's stakeholders; - to plan multiplying activities and practical application of learning achievement at both local and international level; - in the long term perspective, to empower the work that organisations are realising on field in order to generate innovative approaches in their daily activities, to acquire new methodologies and quality activities tools, to provide the possibility for youth workers to develop skills and competences able to support the complex transitions young people in Europe are facing (education, employment and inclusion), to reduce the conditions of NEET and/or early school dropout among young people, to facilitate self-confidence, inclusion and active citizenship.
