Med for Tourism is a Youth Exchange, developed thanks to the cooperation of the project's partners that identified "sustainable tourism" as a crucial issue for the development of a territory and its community. The participants shared their intention of working on the topic with the sending organisations and the coordinator of the project that together built the project starting from the youngsters will. All the members have discussed, shared and agreed the methods and objectives of the project. Here some of the objectives that the participant will achieve on a personal, professional and social level: • development of adaptability to multicultural environments for a more inclusive and democratic society; • growth in English language proficiency; • working in teams; • active participation in future in social life; • greater awareness of the opportunities offered by European programmes. • development of a stronger initiative to face youth unemployment; • a higher self-esteem and a more developed sense of entrepreneurship; • the ability to create new opportunities for the sustainable development of a territory and its community; • greater understanding of the damage caused by non-sustainable development of tourism industry; • the ability to evaluate how to implement sustainable measures in one's own local territory. Besides the previously listed goals there are also objectives related to Legambiente Lecco and the other project partners, namely the ability to implement broader measures of sustainability in their own activities, in order to cover limits and shortcomings that may emerge through the work of the participants involved.
