What we wanted to achieve was defined by our project objectives: 1. to increase the knowledge of youth workers in experiential learning approaches and principles of processing the experience 2. to support the development of youth workers’ skills in facilitating reflection processes (for groups and individuals) as part of the experiential learning cycle 3. to support the development of youth workers’ skills to adapt or create methods for reflection in the context of international youth work activities 4. to provide space for reviewing own attitudes and approaches in experiential learning as part of the international youth work activities 5. to strengthen cooperation and further networking among involved partner organisations In terms of project outcomes as a short-term impact, we can provide a summary for the sake of clarity what might be potential impact: Participants will feel more confident in running reflection sessions with young people They will be able to use a wider range of methods for active reviewing of learning process and outcomes They will be more aware how experiential learning can be applied in youth work and ways to process the experiences gained in order to help young people become aware of their own authentic experience and meaning of it for their further learning process. Better awareness of young people leads to improved social skills and the ability to live in an interconnected way with others. Participants will be able to support young people when preparing, implementing and evaluating international youth exchanges An increased network of cooperation internationally will support local youth work by providing opportunities for young people to participate in learning mobility projects, which is often not possible without the European programmes support.
