We wanted to raise awareness about the environment in a practical way, not just thinking about it but also taking action and showing examples, so that together, we can share good practices among the local communities the participants come from. We wanted youngsters to get inspired and empowered to reduce our impact on the environment so that together, we can take care of our planet and inspire other people to do so, because there is no planet B. We also wanted to bring European young people to a rural area in Latvia, to get to know Latgalian lifestyle, gastronomy and culture. The objectives of this project were: -to bring together young people to Latgale for the main activity; -to raise awareness about the impact of our lifestyle on the environment; -to promote sustainable attitudes and inspire participants to choose a more eco-friendly lifestyle; -to share alternatives to reduce our ecological impact in our daily life.
