Through a variety of activities, discussions, workshops & role-play experiences during the exchange, the participants will develop a better understanding of one another, & of their differing cultures & customs, through discussions, collaborative presentations & sport activities. They will learn strategies & techniques to communicate their findings with friends & family & increase their leadership skills by being responsible for a particular activity. The project further aims through the mix of formal & non-formal education methods to improve the quality of the respective local community programmes by: • Inspiring & equipping youth workers with new training methods, games & activities • Capturing & communicating best practice methodologies • Training participants to become exemplary YL in/of their community • Creating an international network of YL & YW that lays a foundation for future youth exchanges to create extra opportunities for local participants on an international scale • Development of meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships between the participating organisations • Developing a European standard in M&E strategies & communication of the social impact of football-based community programmes Ultimately, BBTF promotes the involvement of young people in their communities to discuss the potential invisible barriers that exist in society, to think critically about social inclusion & explore strategies on how to overcome these barriers.
