Participants will have an opportunity to learn practical methods of working with their beneficiaries and they are expected to create and implement follow-up projects in their respective home communities. By giving participants tools for enhancing social inclusion, the project is strongly promoting anti discrimination and social inclusion, preventing the growth of radical and violent behaviors trough young people. By exploring the potential of non-formal education in understanding migration and migrant’s rights context, the training course will improve key skills of youth workers, which shall help them raise the quality of projects they develop. As the project is addressed toward organizations from both EU and Eastern Partnership countries, it will enhance the international cooperation and high quality of their international projects. After this training course youth workers will be able to carry out their own projects with the tools, approaches and information they will be given during the training course. In this case, they can raise awareness about existing challenges, spread information and increase participation of young people as well as specific target groups like; refugees and asylum seekers in rural areas etc. Apart from this, some of the workshops will be dedicated to storytelling, where participants will create their own video stories in a way that will be informative, catchy and influential. As a result we can have a progress in digital competences too. In a long term perspective the project shall result in an increase openness among youth workers.
