Objectives

This activity is planned based on the necessity of bringing peace to Europe, due to the present changes in geopolitical situation and big flow of migrants to different EU countries. This youth exchange is initiated by our volunteers, participants and peers, with whom we have had a chance to discuss current challenges of European Union within the youth exchange "AgriCULTURE for young Entrepreneurs" held in Armenia in 2018. EU Agency for Fundamental Rights and No Hate Survey states, that 83% of respondents have encountered hate speech and discrimination, which is common in Facebook (67%), Interntet (67,3%) and different forums (56%). The most vulnerable groups are Muslims, LGBT community and women. Along with increasing dynamics of hate speech more and more cases of discrimination and radicalism occur in our societies. The project will allow focusing on the emergency of providing necessary cultural awareness to rural young people who can further fight raising radicalism, discrimination and hate speech in Europe, making it a safe place for cultural diversity, tolerance and peace. With this initiative we aim at improving peer to peer learning among participants, providing safe, informal environment of self-expression, likewise encouraging each participants' involvement in project conception, preparation, organization, and assessment. Thus, the main objectives of the project are: - To increase participants’ consciousness of European multiculturalism, cultural values and tolerance; - To foster mutual understanding, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and solidarity, between young people in different countries; - To increase participants’ awareness about partner states’ national games and their educational/cultural elements; - To transfer national games into open access non-formal learning tools; - To explore the possibilities of the Erasmus + program as a tool for cultural education and mobility; - To identify the competencies that can be obtained through European non-formal learning projects and their certification by Youthpass; - To view opportunities of Erasmus + program from mobility, cultural learning, and non-formal education angles, etc.
