Together with colleagues from abroad, we have decided that we want to implement a theater project. We believe that the theater is beyond all divisions, and the actor can be anyone. We believe that each of us has a talent that will allow us to discover or develop a project. The theme will be legends. We will focus on legends that are known in our region or country. Each country will present them in the form of a spectacle for other participants, and finally we will create our own legend about what connects our cultures and countries. Thanks to this form of expression, we will show the local community that, despite the fact that we come from different countries, we have a lot in common. During the project, we will talk about stereotypes, about how our countries are perceived by other partners. We also want to change the stereotype of thinking about the OHP participant in the local environment as "harder" youth. When implementing the project, we would like to learn and experience something new in international company, because we do not have such development opportunities on a daily basis. The goal of our project is: - developing creativity; - developing social skills; - developing cultural competences; - developing critical thinking and sense of initiative in young people; - improvement of competences and skills of project participants; - integration with the local community; - social inclusion and active participation of young people; - intercultural education; - overcoming language and cultural barriers; - deepening knowledge of the culture, art and customs of other countries; - showing alternative methods of spending free time; - better knowledge of foreign languages; - developing the ability to make decisions, plan and engage; - strengthening of values such as solidarity, friendship; - breaking stereotypes; - sensitization to art; - getting to know the regional and national legends of our partners.
