Objectives

Through the project, together with the Turkish group, we wanted to inspire society to take action to draw attention to the problem of bee population extinction linked to the use of pesticides in agriculture. The participants wanted to exchange with the foreign guests on the methods of management and breeding in Turkish and Polish beekeeping. They wanted to inspire people on how to help bees by feeding them, building hotels for the insects and planting melliferous plants. Participants wanted to gain as much knowledge as possible about bees and their role in the environment. Main objective of the project: to acquire as much knowledge as possible about bees and the effects of their work. Specific objectives: 1. to communicate to the widest possible audience the importance of the work of bees and its effects, 2. to learn from Turkish participants the ways and methods of work specific to Turkish beekeeping, and in particular how bees are protected in their country, 3. to improve their use of English, 4. to improve participants' self-esteem, 5. to develop group work skills.
