The implementation of the project is an attempt to use the potential of three different groups taking part in an international meeting. The experience of the Warsaw youth, which mostly consists of members of the Youth District Council of Mokotów and in a real way is looking for system solutions regarding various problems. It is also a beginner group in the preparation of international projects. The Institute of the Deaf in Turin is deaf people. It creates a different culture of deaf people who every day encounters the label "other", inaccessible. These young people are experienced in the implementation of European projects. Our partner from Belfast, Training for Women Network is a non-governmental organization that explores system solutions for improving the situation of women. The main topic of our meeting will be diversity as a value. Through debates, discussions and workshops, we will consider it's meaning not only from a cultural or ideological point of view, but also from "ordinary" differences between young people, such as: voice, appearance, preferences, language of communication. We will consider how to use it positively in active functioning in the local environment. We will work on defining and explaining why the problem of the "self-stranger", "we-they" barrier which arises from the inability to get to know another community, environmental behavior and culture. We will also find positive features of diversity, which, in our opinion, stimulates development and search for new solutions in the local environment. Using the topics developed during debates and discussions, as well as film workshops, we will create short films showing what values are worth following in life, how much depends on ourselves. We will use the skills of making films as a tool - a translator in which we explain our most important conclusions from discussions and workshops into the language of art, which is a universal language for everyone regardless of culture, origin or country of residence. Our meeting is also an attempt to understand the cultural differences that exist between the partners involved in the project and to find common features. The purpose of the meeting is also to acquire competences that will increase participants' social activity, allow them to create and change the surrounding reality and real influence on it's shape. Change the passive attitude to an active one. Make full use of freedom and the opportunity to take civic initiatives.
