Our organization niemarudni.pl has been asked to support the preparation and implementation of a project that strengthens the ties between twin cities (Twin Towns) and allows the development of competences of young people and leaders, as well as strengthening attitudes of openness and tolerance towards other countries' cultures and building European bonds. The leader and the originator of this project is the youth from MDK 2 in Piekary Śląskie, which first contacted the organization in Georgia through its City Hall. Subsequently, groups from the Czech Republic and Croatia joined the project. In contact with these groups, the Stowarzyszenie Aktywności Przeróżnych niemarudni.pl helped. We were asked by the youth from the KOMKE Youth Club for help. The project allows for the development of local cooperation of public institutions with non-governmental organizations, supports the development of partnerships, promotes activities for international cooperation. It inspires to use non-formal education methods and its attractive educational tools. What the young people emphasize: allows you to step out of the benches and to learn in active form through experience. The main goal is to build an international community based on knowledge about other cultures, respect for otherness and openness to joint activities. Also promoting European citizenship as a community based on cultural diversity, geographical environment, historical heritage.
