“EUropeNET” is a project prepared by a team formed by project coordinators from Poland, Great Britain and Italy, which includes one activity – contact making seminar for youth workers and project coordinators from EU, Non E Programme Countries and Partner Countries Neighboring the EU (Eastern Partnership Countries). In this contact making seminar will participate 29 project coordinators and youth workers from 27 organizations who are active in the youth sector in 14 countries: Poland, Italy, Great Britain, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine and Cyprus. Each country will be represented by three organizations that are active in the youth sector, with exception of Malta and Great Britain that will be represented by one partner organization. During the realization of common projects like „COPE”, „Digital Era” and „World around us -EVS in YOUr Town”, which were implemented under E+ programme, we came to the conclusion that within the organisations working in the youth sector, especially the ones working with YPFO, there is the need to organise contact making seminars because during the last years the number of partner organisations cooperating with each other is shrinking. This influences the realization and implementation of projects and also limits and shrinks educational options, specially for youngsters with fewer opportunities and youth workers. Since few years, a lot of organisations working in the youth sector created their own network with who they are cooperating thus limiting their own activities or working in a limited range. According to this, there is the real need amongst partner organizations to organise a contact making seminar which will allow new and old organisations to enlarge their circle of cooperating as well as to be open to new organisations and possibilities. For this is needed to better know the frame of cooperation, the profile of the organisations as well as the socio-economic situation of their countries. The project team, based on past experiences and information collected from partnership network, came to the conclusion that the project should connect organisations from EU countries, Non EU Programme countries and partner countries neighbouring the EU. EUropeNET project was submitted for the first round of submission of 2018 but didn’t get financed because, as we read on the project assessment, “the project was not fully in accordance with the aims and objectives of youth mobility”. We would like to underline that the project is fully in agreement with the aims and objectives of E+ Programme in the frame of the KA1 - "Learning Mobility of Individuals” (Mobility project of young people and youth workers). Under this action, one of the activities that is supported is contact making events, in the aim of making contact between organisations. The aim of this activities is to develop professional abilities of youth workers, to build the capacity of quality working with youth of their organisation. The main goals of the project are: - to create sustainable partnerships which will contribute to the development of projects such as European Voluntary Service, Youth Exchanges for young people with fewer opportunities and Training courses for youth workers, and general development of youth sector; - to familiarize project coordinators and youth workers on how to use new technology tools for international project management in order to support the learning process of young person with fewer opportunities and youth workers, as well as to disseminate the project results in youth sectors; - to exchange experiences between youth workers and project coordinators from experienced and new comers; - innovatively use of the E+ Programme to create projects in the youth sector which will involve young people with fewer opportunities; - to create a new opportunity for youngsters, specially for young people with fewer opportunities, to participate in Erasmus+ Programme; - to improve the quality of projects in the youth sector; - to increase the diversity of projects for young people by establishing new partnerships and raising the knowledge of youth workers and project coordinators in the youth sector; - to create a strong organization, which will be partners to set up and develop youth policy in the region, country and Europe; Presented project is compatible with the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme and the priorities of Action 1 of the youth sector. The methods that we foresee during the contact making seminar, which will help us to achieve our goals are: integration games, team building and evaluation games, language animations, brainstorming, exchange of experiences, lecture with elements of a talk, idea exchange, audiovisual method, poster method, experiment, theater method, case study, discussion, use of information and communication technologies and digital tools, educational platforms, lecture, debate and survey method.
