"Teatralia- Masters of Small Stages" is a proposal of sixteen-days workshops for young people interested in the art of theatrical transmission and at the same time a response to the willingness of participants to organize a venture in the form of creating an original spectacle. Due to the premises requirements necessary to develop the show and the fact of difficult access to professional actors, the youth asked the Foundation for formal, logistical, technical and financial assistance in implementing this idea. Substantive care over the work of the youth, educational support and sharing their own stage experiences were declared by the actors of the National Old Theater from Krakow and costume designers, make-up artists and stage designers. Sixteen-days workshops will allow participants to get closer to the backstage of work on the show, allow them to confront their own ideas with the actors' experiences, deepen knowledge on the aspects of creating stage design, makeup ritual, and costume design. Theoretically and practically practiced principles of diction, the power of verbal communication, gesture strength, principles of moving on the stage and cooperation with other participants of the event will be discussed. Young people will have the opportunity to obtain compressed and interesting knowledge about the history of world theater, will be able to see performances together with actors and discuss their contents, ways of acting, methods of creating a character, the role of a costume in the sense of being someone else on the stage than in reality . An important aspect of the workshop will be the discussion of the influence of theatrical art on social and civic awareness on examples of historical dramas, formerly and nowadays, and the shifting of an important theater place in today's commercialized world with its easy access to pop egalitarian culture. Cooperation on one stage of representatives of two language areas will be an additional value - young people will learn mutual communication, will be able to linguistically help neighbors, create a system of "workshop" communication and lean on the interpenetration of language cultures, so characteristic for the Podkarpacie region of the workshop.
