Main aim of the proposed project is to develop creative approaches and effective mechanisms that enable participants to combat social exclusion, injustice, discrimination and violence. Project promotes intercultural learning, social inclusion, diversity, participation, EU values and communicative experiences for youth with fewer opportunities by sharing national traditions and culture (music, dance, history, gastronomy, etc), values and countering influences that lead to fear and exclusion of “others” and to enable them to break prejudices, develop capacities for independent judgment, critical thinking and ethical reasoning. The youth exchange provides a space for participants to become young leaders of social change. Objectives: - To promote EU values of active participation, European citizenship, tolerance, social justice ,diversity, intercultural learning, pluralism and respect; - To boost participants creativity, resilience and open-mindedness as active citizens to turn their ideas into actions; - To raise awareness on Non-formal education and Erasmus+ opportunities; - To enhance cooperation between EU and EECA countries and establish common approaches for follow-up activities with Erasmus+ programme. The project was developed in correspondence with the aims and objectives of Erasmus+ Programme and EU; it also links to the three main objectives renewed EU Youth Strategy proposed by the European Commission for 2019-2027 focusing on the following areas of action: - Designed to promote the participation of youth in society, and ensure equal opportunities for young people in work and education. - Engage, by fostering youth participation in civic and democratic life. - Connect, by connecting youth across the EU and beyond, to foster voluntary engagement, learning mobility, solidarity and intercultural understanding. - Empower, by supporting youth empowerment through quality, innovation and recognition of youth work. Moreover, it enhances innovation in line with the objectives of the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020).
