THEATER TOOLS FOR DRAMATIC SITUATIONS was a training course that gathered 34 Youth workers and 5 experts from 16 european countries. Mobility took place between 2-10 february 2022 in Sarata Monteoru and Buzau,Romania. The context of the project was linked with the relationship between natives/residents and migrants that became very bad in last years due to migrants' dynamics in Europe and to the refugees waves that affected Europe and led to intercultural conflicts and discrimination situations. The context in which the project took place stands out by increasing the number of migrants in Europe and the outbreak of the worst post-World War II crisis. Terrorist attacks in recent years had lowered the acceptance of allogeneic populations and increased the risk of integration to 42% in the EU. Resident populations are reluctant, fears, hatred and xenophobia migrant groups are increasingly appearing into intolerance, discrimination, street protests, while some parties legitimate their sentiments in nationalist extremist programs and actions that generate success among a part of the population and an unclear position in the media. Planned in 2019 the mobility was postponed almost 3 years and the fact that took place during the excaladation of conflict between Russia and Ukraine added an extra value to the course as participants declared they could use what they learnt in dealing with large migration from Ucraine to some european countries. The need for action through this training course is common at the level of youth workers in partner associations, with the assimilated tools being multiplied with new competencies on young people in the NGO and community, and the results obtained led to a more efficient work of workers to ensure a climate of improved cohabitation between residents and migrants and a better integration of the latter into the community and civic actions of the partner associations. Discussions considered the dramatic art of the methods proposed as suitable for the topic (theater is very good at obtaining anti-discrimination solutions and is easily accessible to refugees and those who work / interacts with them) and to the training needs of the workers (theatrical methods used by partners give very good results and are easy to multiply) The aim of the project was to improve the professional activity of youth workers in Europe in educating young people and civil society for a better social integration of migrants objectives: 1. raising for 34 youth workers from 16 countries awareness of the importance of cultural diversity, equal opportunities and anti-hate discourse in developing their capacity for social integration of migrants in the community 2.developing 34 youth workers from 16 countries of new socio-civic and cultural-artistic competences to facilitate the elimination of conflicts between the majority population and migrant groups 3. Improving the quality and efficiency of work of 34 youth workers from 16 countries by assimilating for a week a non-formal creative tools based on dramatic art and their application in identifying solutions to situations of cultural discrimination of migrants
