The 3 main objectives of the project are: - Raising young people awareness and knowledge about democracy and European Values and fostering their active participation in local, regional, national and international decision making processes. - Support the establishment and development of youth representations at local, regional and national level, recognising young people’s right to participate and self-organise, the recognition of representative youth structures and their inclusion in the work of local, regional, national and European authorities. - To promote common European values, foster social integration, enhancei ntercultural understanding and a sense of belonging to a community. The objectives of our partnership are corresponding to the objectives of Renewed European Youth Strategy proposed by European Commission for 2019 – 2027 so called “Engage – Connect – Empower”. By our project we participants will have the chance to get insights how democracy is working and based on that to create their own country, establish their own laws, decide who will lead, what responsibilities they have, how they want to be involved with neighbour countries. They will become the founding fathers of their own nation. They will vote for their own government and become their own government themselves. Based on the Europe 2020 Strategy, one of the main objectives of Erasmus+ programme is the development of social capital among young people, the empowerment of young people and their ability to participate actively in society, in line with the provisions of the Lisbon Treaty to "encourage the participation of young people in democratic life in Europe". This issue can also be targeted through non-formal learning activities, which aim at enhancing the skills and competences of young people as well as their active citizenship. During the project we will address the topic of democracy which is a hot topic in Europe. This is why we want young people to be able to make their own rules and manage their own democracy and learn how to become active citizens of their respected communities.
