The need for the implementation of a project addressing the theme of multiculturalism from the state of the local community where hosting organization is active, but also from the situation on the level of the entire state, and how we learned through communication with partner organizations, a situation that is more or less present in almost all communities and societies, regardless of their social, cultural or economic development. It stems from lonely stereotypes and prejudices that, combined with the fear of the unknown and lack of information or tools or the skill to overcome it, lead to closure in relationships with people dressing differently, playing, singing, talking, throats, kissing, praying. . The current situation has arisen due to increasing mobility of citizens and more frequent migrations of the population at all levels, ranging from local, regional and national to international and global. Such a situation increasingly leads to cases where individuals, or even entire communities, at one point directly meet people whose physical appearance or behavior does not fit in with an established template in terms of the manner of communication or the manner of behavior they are used to, which can lead to the inconvenience on both sides. The aim of the youth exchange "European winter week" is to develop positive attitudes about differences that should not be a source of fear, but a challenge and a desire to learn and understand the importance and beauty of cultural diversity. They also need to gain theoretical knowledge about the elements that make up the national culture, as well as the skills and tools to overcome the barriers posed by stereotypes and prejudices about people who are different from them. Developing positive attitudes and competencies in this area would directly affect members of their communities, not only as behavioral behaviors and attitudes towards those who are different, but also through the propagation of these attitudes planned through the process of dissemination. During the implementation of this youth exchange, methods that are otherwise used in the process of non-formal education will be used and will be adapted to the age and structure of the participants, as well as the topic that is being processed. This will also achieve specific goals that will guarantee the success of the whole project, as follows: Inclusion of young people, participants in youth exchange, into the process of non-formal education and mastering the competences within the topic; Transferring and adopting theoretical knowledge of the elements that make up the culture of one nation; Informing about the basic characteristics and goals of the ERASMUS + program; Getting acquainted with Youthpass certification as a tool for monitoring and recognizing competence overcomes in non-formal education; Increasing the number of cultural events and enriching the public life of the local community of the host organization. This project also directly deals with the general goal and specific goals of the Erasmus + youth program through: - Raising the level of key competences and skills of young people, including those with fewer opportunities; - increasing the learning opportunities for young people through mobility, especially for those active in youth organizations, youth work and youth leaders; - encouraging quality improvements in youth work through mutual cooperation between youth organizations and / or other decision makers.
