Through the job shadowing project, we wanted to help young people explore their field of interest and developing research skills and building occupational knowledge. It was our pilot project for youth workers activities and we could explore this new opportunity and evaluate the pros and cons.For the first project we involved only 2 participants to make the process easier The project promoted: - Exploration of a field of interest of young professionals - Exposure to careers and jobs - Awareness of the academic, technical and personal skills required in particular jobs - The opportunity to practice communication, entrepreneurship, cooperation and other professional skills through the mutual understanding between participants in one international project - The possibility to share experience between countries and got a new way of looking at our working process Moreover, through this project we successfully reached the following objectives: • build up cooperation in the youth development field by bringing together the youth worker from Russia and Fryshuset Marketing and Development Manager giving them the space to exchange the best practices and ideas to develop concepts for entrepreneurship and leadership, consequently establish new international partnerships and projects for the future collaboration between countries. • increase key skills such as communication, teamwork, project coordination • support creative and innovative approaches to youth work and to facilitate development of the youth worker`s skills. • continue to work with ESC department in Fryshuset and Erasmus+ program more thoroughly • promote the objectives and opportunities of the Erasmus + Program in the local community through organizing meetings and events with young people and visiting non-governmental organizations active in youth work and development. • expand Fryshuset's partners network to include organizations from Russia and Eastern Partnership Region that share its same values as well as its aims and objectives to facilitate organizing collaborative projects and exchange of ideas in the future.
