In the years of our work in the non-governmental sector, we are all very well aware of the importance of measuring the effects of our activities. We often measure the effects of individual activities, but forget to check or follow the mission of the organization. We also forget about strategic planning, forget to think carefully about our path, where we are going and cto check if we are following our mission. Often, our methods are also deficient, whether we’re short on time, do not even know what and how to measure, or how to design strategic planning. Therefore, we would develop an internal system for measuring the effects to check and better follow our visions. It would also be supported by methods for strategic planning. We see our partnership as very strong, because we would like to upgrade a tool that already exists and very good results can come from measuring the effects. There are two big networks of international volunteering (Alliance and SCI) that offer a collection of all the methods that exist within the networks. We will gather them, structure and upgrade them. In this way, we want to empower the established partnership, both networks and, in general, the non-governmental sector. Since the design of such projects is complex and we would like to ensure quality, we decided to carry out the first feasibility visit, the goals of which are: -check the feasibility of the KA2 project and partnership (linking working groups of two global networks); -development and conceptual design of the project idea; -check the IT solutions of the IMPROVE application; -distribution of application parts for further work between partner organizations.
