Objectives

With the Cul Dive project, we wanted to empower young people with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of culture, which will give them new possibilities and perspectives for the implementation of various cultural activities in their local environment. Rdeči Revirji festival is taking place in Hrastnik (for the past 20 years), created by various artists and producers with many years of experience both at the national and international level. The creators of the festival, together with the employees of Javni zavod KRC Hrastnik taught youth workers the necessary skills that they will use in their local environment for creativity in the cultural field. The goal was to empower 21 youth workers from 7 different countries, who will acquire useful work methods, good practices, solutions and new opportunities with the help of a creative process. In addition, the goal was to implement practical training (learning by doing), where they connected different competencies and learned when to get as close as possible to the audience, thereby ensuring the successful dissemination of results. Through the acquired feelings and work methods, they would be trained to pass on their knowledge through movement and choreography, and at the same time they would also include their own thinking and creativity, which they would be able to encourage in their participants in their own local environment. The goal of the project was also to combine all the acquired knowledge and present it in practice at the Rdeči Revirji festival, which is one of the highest quality and traditional festivals of performing arts in Slovenia.
