Project partners and our young members are confident that the mentality advocated by social entrepreneurship is extremely important in today's times and we believe that young people need to know more about this topic. Therefore, all partners will strive to make young people aware of social entrepreneurship as much as possible, to present them with the opportunities it offers and to awaken their entrepreneurial mindset. The theme of social entrepreneurship, which enables young people to empower and engage, is very important and firmly linked both to the priorities of the Erasmus + program and to the Resolution on the European Youth Strategy 2019-2027, in which they emphasize the importance of the engaged, involved and empowered young people , in achieving the objectives of the EU policy and the importance of social and civic engagement of young people. The project aims to enable the participation of six partner organizations and 42 young people from six EU countries, namely Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania and Spain. Partner organizations and young participants will review examples of good practices in the field of social entrepreneurship during this project, develop ideas that young participants will prepare before coming to a youth exchange, and discuss suitable EU programs for which there are appropriate tenders that help young people develop their ideas up to the stage of market entry. The UNDP report from 2018 states that among young people in recent years there is a loss of a sense of personal responsibility for society's problems and a personal contribution to the process of improving the quality of life in the community. Partners are aware that a single project will not change this. At the same time, we are aware that it is necessary to start somewhere if we want to see long-term positive changes in our society and entrepreneurship, as seen by young people. This way, we will inform young people about the possibilities offered by social entrepreneurship and what benefits it can create for the local community. We believe that this will motivate them to take control of their lives and become more active citizens who will strive for positive changes in society. The young people involved will be introduced to the importance of further spreading this newly acquired mentality among their peers. Therefore, we expect that these young people will become more active in their local communities after completion of the project and will be active in youth work and youth organizations. We also count on some of the participants to become youth leaders after the project and transfer their knowledge to other young people in their communities. We believe that with our activities we will achieve youth activation in all partner countries of this project. During the project, we will also contribute to improving the level of key competences and skills of young participants. We believe that this is especially important for young people with fewer opportunities who are less likely to face such topics and that they will be able to take the most from this project.
