In this project we would like to fight against prejudices. The fundamental aim of the project is to increase mutual understanding and accepting social diversity. We would like to decrease youth’s intolerance by proposing a dialogue between cultures. We all have prejudice towards others to a certain extent, and we all are victims of others’ prejudices. Day after day we formulate comments on others, judging others’ outlook or behaviour. We do not even realise that we continuously judge others, form an opinion and stigmatize. Sometimes, when we get to know others closer, we overwrite our first negative judgement, but it needs timet to break our misjudgements. Young people (14-18 year) are especially responsive to intolerant and antidemocratic / xenophobic / discriminative ideas. Our objectives: - decrease prejudice - decrease prejudice towards groups of minorities - increase tolerance and solidarity - decrease the sense of stereotypes - promote inclusion and cultural diversity
