The main topic of the project is the prejudices which individuals have and observe in society along with discrimination that these prejudices cause. The aim of the project is taking and carrying out significant decisions with those who are aware of the prejudices and the negativities they cause to prevent this situation. Together with those against discrimination and prejudices, we will take significant steps towards our goal. In this youth exchange, many opportunities will be provided to youngsters, such as self-improvement by developing different common and non-formal learning methods, building aptitude for group works, improving language skills, and raising self-confidence. In addition, after the meetings to prevent prejudice and identifying the negativity that causes discrimination; the participants will work on the topic of the day in groups. In these group works, there will be responsibilities, such as distribution of the roles and tasks, determining the topic of the short movies to be shot, writing the scripts, interviewing. Everyone will work together for the final product as the result. Objectives of or project: - To make friendships with participants from countries which have different cultures, awareness of working with a group, universal thinking, to be able to think different cases in the world with a wide perspective, to improve their interest into the program through this journey which will be started by participating to an Erasmus+ program for the first time. - To get the group, which contains many different religions, languages and cultures, socialize with each other and explore the common points between these differences during all the process. - To make all participants young individuals who will have improved their social communication ability, self-confidences and empowered their values such as tolerance, friendship, solidarity and democracy after the program. - To be able to raise awareness about the issues of prejudices and discrimination against different topics. - To gain awareness of struggling against the ideas that create discrimination and inequality. - To gain adequate knowledge of shooting and editing a video and adding subtitle into it, to create their short movies. - To gain adequate knowledge to be able to create e-magazine. - To improve youth’s abilities such as establishing empathy and team work. - To understand the importance of group work to succeed. - To improve participants’ abilities to speak in front of people and present their ideas, through the discussions and presentation which we will make during our program. - To improve their ability of analyzing themselves by giving them opportunity to discover their own learning processes. - To get them understand that learning is not only on getting but also on giving. - To promote them to pay respect and be tolerant towards cultural differences.
