In our project, our participants will be introduced to new methods of non-formal learning. We will be discussing how school can exist beyond the walls and how the outdoor spaces can be designed as learning environments. The goals of our project are the following: 1) To inform our participants about outdoor learning spaces and environments 2) To facilitate a fruitful sharing and learning platform for our 25 participants coming from 5 different countries where they can share their experiences about learning environments 3) To faciliate a collective brainstorming on how public spaces can be turned into learning environments 4) To learn more about good practices on how historic sites such as the Ancient City of Ephesus can be used as learning spaces 5) To disseminate at least 4 new outdoor learning methods which we will be designing throughout the program through various dissemination platforms starting with the Salto-Youth Toolbox 6) To faciliate an intercultural learning enviroment with all of our 25 participants coming from 5 different countries. To help our participants learn more about each other’s culture. 7) To help our participants develop a new hard skill, i.e. mapping. With this skill, our participants chance of employability could be increased. In order to reach our goals, we have selected participants from 4 partner organizations in Germany, North Macedonia, Hungary and Romania. Each partner organization will be joining our project with 4 participants and 1 group leader. There will be 25 participants including those in Turkey.
