Generally known fact states that individuals are taking better care in terms of individual knowledge and modernity level of today's society and that individuals pay more attention to their own health. When the term "health" is taken into consideration in the society, the issue that most people give priority to is generally physical health and mental health is ignored. This situation is seen in many countries of the world and mental health problems are not perceived as health problems by many individuals. Mental health, however, is the starting point of many discomforts in our body and may make the physical health of the individual more serious. Turkey and across the world, especially in individuals in the 16-26 age period (17% of young community in Turkey) are often experiencing mental breakdowns. The welfare level in the community has no effect on the well-being of mental health and mental health problems in every part of society can occur as often as physical health problems. Public support for mental health improvements in individuals is also low in the world (less than 1% in one-third of the world's countries), and in some countries they are almost absent. It is also known that the peoples of the world view mental disorders as a shame and for this reason they do not apply to a psychiatrist in the situations of carrying risk and that the applicants do not receive treatment that they need, they are despised and discriminated by the hospital employees. There is less than one psychiatric experts are available for 1 million people due to the reason of prejudices about the state of mental risk and individuals who are at risk of exclusion and not receive enough treatment related to the need for treatment in this regard reduces the motivation for individuals seeking help. To increase the importance of mental health in young people who are more susceptible to mental breaks, especially in today's society, where 121 million individuals and 20% of young people in the world live with depression and mental disorders in their derivatives, and invite individuals to take action on behalf of their own lives. To increase mental power and to cope with problems, it must be a common duty of the society to have social responsibility in the field of public health. Primarily 16- 26 age young people in the range and the result of extensive studies conducted in Europe, especially to focus on the common problems in young people living in cities (social withdrawal, somatic complaints, anxiety / depression, Attention Problems, etc.) would yield tangible results and will enable us to raise healthy communities. When all these factors are considered, it is necessary to show the strategies and ways that will make people mentally resistant in European societies and Turkish society with variable mental structures, to raise awareness that mental problems are as normal as physical disturbances and to spread this call in public and NGO applications. We believe that the purpose and trajectory of our project is suitable for Turkey's EU 2020 targets working within this program which supports the importance it gives to the Mental Well-Being Program. The aim of our project is to raise awareness of European young people's healthy lifestyle about mental well-being and to direct individuals to active responsibility. The objectives of our project overlap with the general objectives of the Erasmus + program, in particular the title of health: to ensure that the newly-grown youth is open-minded and aware of healthy, active, personal and social development. Our aim is to provide a new focus area for organizations that work in a healthy lifestyle and to inspire their work with young people in the field of mental health; in this way, it is to increase the volunteering activities of active institutions in public health and to increase the awareness about this area indirectly in the whole society. In line with these objectives, institutions, youth workers working in institutions and European young people need to increase their personal awareness on mental health from the beginning and they need to take part in the international activities that invite them to be conscious. As we serve this need, we plan for such impacts and developments on behalf of our participants and partner organizations in this project, and we foresee that the impact that we have targeted together with the activity calendar that we have prepared for these goals will be in the desired direction.
