Objectives

Our project, which we have shaped under the title of 'Environmental Awareness', aims to understand and protect the World we live in, to learn how different cultures perceive and protect the environment and nature; to increase the environmental awareness of each participant with the training and activities planned during the project; religion, language, race, gender etc. It included understanding the environment that affects and nourishes everyone without regard to it and seeking solutions to environmental problems with participants from different countries. Understanding the environment and nature, which have undergone various changes with human beings, is an important step towards understanding humans. This project aimed to convey to the participants how human psychology directs people's attitudes towards the environment and how the changing environment affects human psychology, by professional trainers, and to raise awareness in terms of psychology. Our project is also aimed at all participants regarding 17 global goals (Healthy Individuals, Clean Water and Sanitary Conditions, Accessible and Clean Energy, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, Life in Water, and Life on Land) that are determined by the United Nations and aim to achieve in the next 15 years. and during the dissemination process of the project, it helped to explain these goals to many people, to raise awareness of individuals in line with the goals, and to contribute to the development of the goals. The goals we have achieved with our project; - Encouraging environmental awareness, recycling, social inclusion and solidarity; - Young people were given the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes in their field; - Improved international cooperation and intercultural dialogue; - Increased understanding of initiative, leadership and teamwork in the youth field; - A special place was given to young people with low opportunities to be aware of the changes promoted by the European Youth Programmes and to take an active part in social life. In order to achieve the project objectives, we decided, together with the partners, that the methodology to be used during the project activities would be based on the principles of non-formal education. All participants firstly participated in activities where they would feel comfortable with ice-breakers and teamwork/games. These cohesion and intercultural sharing practices helped teamwork. Different methods at the end of each day We made evaluation groups using During the youth exchange, the themes deepened in workshops and smaller study groups. We enabled the participants to express their opinions and themselves comfortably through various interactive activities and to have confidence in their abilities and strengths of the participants. The selected methods were created from methods that included non-formal education such as simulation, role-playing, energizing, reflection/information, and case studies. In addition, outdoor activities were held to facilitate motivation and volunteering and to understand nature closely. The participants worked in groups and eventually shared their work with each other and then with the local population. They were able to approach and open up with each other during the games. Endangered species and destroyed nature are the common problems of the 7.8 billion people with whom we share the same earth. In the context of the impact of our project, which deals with this global problem, our primary expectation is that our participants and every person our project touches should be based on religion, language, race, gender, etc. it was to gain awareness that we can meet on common ground without discrimination. participating organizations benefited by developing new and innovative approaches by collaborating with organizations in other countries and sharing good practices. The main aim of this youth exchange is to convey to young people concrete information and methodologies about intercultural exchange; it was also to build commitment to further cooperation among promoters. Impact on participants: This project has greatly contributed to the personal development of the project participants. Young people have learned ways to set and achieve socially sanctioned goals. They have also become more assertive and knowledgeable, laying the foundation for their future activities in the field of rural development. The project consisted of young people gaining skills and experiences that helped them to be more open-minded, have a multilateral perspective, share their ideas, and apply these skills.
