The main objectives of this project are to help young people: Learning about EU environmental policies and laws Learning about local laws and policies Learning about practices in place (recycling, etc) Finding sources of information Getting involved in policy reform and contributing Creating awareness in their communities and the world about environmental conservation Working with local stakeholders to ensure that laws and policies are upheld Educating locals about the situation and methods to protect the environment Finding employment Finding ways to improve skills, competences and gaining experience for employability Learning about different national and EU programs for employment and skill development Learn more about the needs of the labour market If we can help young people find employment in environmental fields or to start businesses to deal with the issues identified we can achieve both objectives at once. We can reduce youth unemployment while having a positive impact on our environment.
