Objectives

Entrepreneurship has a big role in the Economic Development of a country. The EU Commission and governments are investing in programs to foster entrepreneurship, including social entrepreneurship (I.e. The Entrepreneurship 2020 Action Plan by the EC). We want to carry out this project because we know that the Dragon Dreaming method has been a source of inspiration and an efficient tool for individuals and entities that have managed to transform their dreams, into successful projects, inspiring young people. In the same way, the project’s partners want to be drivers of change in the society in which we live, especially in the youth field. With this, we hope to improve the participation of young people, in the activities that we deliver and to help engage the most unmotivated or marginalised youth. This youth exchange has been designed to equip young participants with valuable tools on entrepreneurship and inclusion, that will also improve their job possibilities, during their professional future career. This project, addresses different and relevant needs of each participating organization, as well as the Erasmus+ programme objectives, specially expected for this Key Action, like: inclusion, basic entrepreneur skills against unemployment, improving learning performance, promoting an active participation in society, increased self-empowerment, self-esteem and motivation, enhanced intercultural awareness and networking with other European, active young people. We believe that Dragon Dreaming innovative methodology is a relevant tool for youth motivation and therefore, for a better future socio-economic development. We also liked that the technique creates a learning space, with theoretical and practical sessions. The specific objectives of the project are: 1. To learn a new technique for the design of creative, collaborative and sustainable projects. 2. Acquire new tools to improve their employability, participation and motivation, especially those at disadvantage situations. 3. Creation of a common space for the intercultural exchange, in order to contribute improving the European awareness and citizenship. To meet the participant’s objectives, an inspiring and educational youth exchange for youth participants has been designed, as a vital role in that purpose.
