We live in a world in which we are exposed to a large amount of information every day, and not just through reputable channels. In social media in particular, anyone can disseminate information and opinions whose truthfulness can hardly be verified. As a result, particularly uncritical people are exposed to manipulation, which must be recognized and exposed. That, in turn, requires training, critical thinking, and practice. At this YE, we intended to critically assess information from the media in the workshops, to arm ourselves against false reports and to recognize our own responsibility in disseminating reports.
