With this project we wanted to exchange KLJ'ers with European young people from like-minded organisations. We chose themes that connect us, namely the engagement of young people, their motivation, how they do it without adults, ... We want both the KLJ members and the international participants to gather ideas from each other to take them to their own country/ local department. What makes an international exchange more interesting than a national one is that the issues that arise within the organizations may be different. Within Belgium, youth movements are often confronted with the same problems. By exchanging across borders, we may come across new things.
