Objectives

The main goal we are making through this project is mutual acquaintance with the history, culture, customs and customs of the Balkans, restoring forgotten folklore values, preserving and popularizing folk songs, dancing and rituals, improving inter-ethnic and intercultural dialogue, building skills to work on specific issues in a multiethnic team. Through the project activities, we aim to create an efficient model for educating ethnic tolerance and friendship, to build moral and aesthetic values among young people, to create prerequisites for overcoming prejudice, racism and ethnic discrimination. We want young people from the three countries to come to the idea that, although with different cultures and traditions, we are full citizens of Europe and are useful for the development of the common European family. Young people understand the uniqueness of each of them, and that although we are different, we have a common past and a common future. We will motivate young people from the region to initiate activities aimed at preserving the richness of different ethnicities, authentic customs and folklore. We believe that by inheriting our generic traits and values, we will be able to be more confident and brave in asserting our unique and unique uniqueness to Europe and the world. Thus, we will respond to the priorities of the Erasmus + program - Cultural Heritage / European Year of Cultural Heritage, Intercultural Intergenerational Education and Social Dialogue. The project sub targets we want to achieve are: • Learning about the traditions of North Macedonia , Serbia and Bulgaria, their historical development and contemporary cultural events. • Transferring good practices in the youth community that enhance the motivation for personal development of young people. • Creating sustainable partnerships in the field of active citizenship and building skills for young people to create and manage cultural projects. • The realization of a public cultural event based on informal training and teamwork - the goal is to preserve and develop the cultural identity and to transform the ethno-cultural diversity into a source of mutual acquaintance, respect and cooperation. • Commitment and direct involvement of the public in the project process, in order to overcome negative stereotypes and discriminatory attitudes. • Participants in the exchange should be aware of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Program. To achieve sustainability, we have set ourselves the following goal: • Increasing the number of young people is Europe with an interest in folk arts. Various educational methods will be used during the exchange: discussions, theoretical and practical activities, creative events, cultural practices and challenges. The forms of learning and teaching used will increase the creativity of the participants in the project, the young people will have the opportunity to feel the atmosphere of the folk lifestyle, to dress up folk costumes, to learn new folk songs, to sing folk songs. At the same time, we want to set up the foundations of youth clubs to get acquainted with the authentic traditions of the Balkan peoples to attract youth interest and resources for research and for a gradual overall discovery of the cultural heritage of the Balkan region. These authentic folklore clubs will operate within the three partner associations and will develop as one of the forms of their organizational activity.
