Objectives

The We Work Online training course is a project of the Center for European Initiatives (Stara Zagora, Bulgaria), which aims to improve the competencies of youth organizations in Europe to help their target audience become competitive on the online labor market. In this project, we partner with 5 other organizations from partner and partner countries (Portugal, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania and Georgia) and aim to train a total of 24 youth workers, 4 from each participating organization. The objectives of the training course are: 1. Upgrading and improving the competencies of youth non-profit organizations in helping young people to get a better chance of being employed online and being prepared for different working conditions. 2. Increasing the capacity of non-governmental organizations to help young people to enhance their personal initiative to develop entrepreneurial ideas. 3. Provide the necessary understanding of current labor market trends, teleworking and the competences it requires 4. Increase the ability of non-governmental organizations to support young people living in less developed or remote regions as well as in smaller settlements with a poorly developed labor market to advise them to overcome the challenges they face job search. 5. Improve understanding of social, linguistic and cultural differences emerging from online work. 6. To create a more modern and professional environment in organizations: readiness to integrate new and quality practices and methods in the way of work Participants are expected to promote the idea of lifelong learning, especially in the presence of opportunities such as open online courses (MOOC), expert bloggers and other online sources. Participants will acquire basic skills for online communication, remote conflict management, remote teamwork, in particular asynchronous teams, intercultural competence, time management, self-motivation and other skills essential to the online job market.
