When we proposed the project, our main idea was through art to improve the intercultural dialogue and to use it as a tool for prevention of conflicts by enhancing the respect for human rights, democracy and the rule of law. On top of that our project explored the roots of our different cultures, the cultures of our neighbors, and the cultures of Europe. We learned from each other, and we shared our culture with our friends in every form possible. Cultures, traditions, and customs have often been the bases of stereotypes being created and even conflicts. We often hear discriminating comments based on cultural differences or because of some customs or traditions we saw in another country, the art is something that brings the diversity together. At the beginning clearly, we defined the objectives of the projects. The most important goal and objectives of the projects were: 1. Using the art as cross-cultural learning and dialogue between the participants from different countries, with a view to promoting mutual understanding and tolerance; 2. To increase youngsters' knowledge of different culture/history/religion; 3. Development of creativity and involvement of young people in civil life by promoting Erasmus + opportunities among them.; 4. To unite youngsters from different backgrounds, nations, and cultures to share best practices particularly in the areas of intercultural dialogue, the democratic management of social diversity and the promotion of social cohesion; 5. To learn how to respect each opinion and break stereotypes through conducting evaluation and discussion with young people from other countries; 6. To promote good neighboring relations between the EU Member and the non-EU States and to provide space for friendship and relationship through art and culture. Participants felt some luck of more deep knowledge about the history of the countries and the religious differences among them. This would be a topic for the next project we will implement with the partner organization.
