Objectives

With the implementation of our project, we want to achieve significantly better communication among young people among each other, of different nationalities, among young people and their caregivers in their everyday lives - as well as among regional and international partners. Also in a European context. The focus here is on the active learning of new communication skills, the international exchange of communication strategies and the joint development of new ones of one's own. Why: Communication among young people of the same nationality - especially of different nationalities - is important now and in the future, it includes curiosity about each other and mutual respect. In our everyday life and work, we repeatedly come up against communicative boundaries in our interaction, especially with the growing generation and with them in general. There are still communicative problems with young people who have fled, which are NOT due to linguistic barriers. We want to work against this, together we want to make the reasons for it visible and offer solutions. Our project should provide all participants with tools for better, clearer communication among each other and offer space for all communicative processes. During our ten-day youth meeting the Latvian, Polish, Estonian and German participants will work at Schloss Bröllin on the topic "Communication - in my everyday life, my family, with friends, my country, in Europe". Questions that arise in this process should find their answers in a comparison of countries: How do I communicate with friends, in my family, with teachers/trainers, politicians, local partners, foreigners? The various active workshop offers (theatre/improvisation; video/film; free dance/hip hop; music/composition) support the learning process of non-electronic communication but face to face. With our project we want to meet the need for an improvement of communication and offer help for self-help as well as directly promote self-determined learning. The aims of the project are an active engagement with the topic of communication - starting from one's own in the personal environment - up to forms of communication in European contexts; with the help of non-formal learning methods, the acquisition of different forms of communication as well as the active practice and application of these; Helping people to help themselves by developing their own abilities through this and to actively participate in our society; acquiring knowledge and experience in applying communicative processes in groups, families and conflict situations; improving the knowledge of foreign languages of all participants; strengthening regional partner networks - motivating people to actively develop their own initiatives - acquiring competences and skills in the thematic workshops; developing self-responsibility and greater self-esteem; intercultural learning with non-formal learning methods: The latter is also promoted through the preparation of the intercultural evenings; presentation of how to deal with the topic of communication in a country comparison; quality improvement in the international context. Youth work - strengthening the international dimension of activities in the youth field. Further goals are the development of tolerance and awareness for other cultures as well as the help to self-help by developing own abilities (4 workshop offers) for the active participation in our society and thereby a support of the vocational development of the young people involved. This also includes strengthening regional and international partner networks as well as increasing employability on the European labour market. In the 9 days of the Youth Exchange all participants learn to show something of themselves, to open up. Favoured by an atmosphere of good togetherness and trust in the large group, they can compare themselves and then expand their own borders. They know that they are well supported, that they are "seen" in their learning process; by their personal mentors, their group leaders, by us as a team. They can acquire knowledge and skills in applying communicative processes in groups, family as well as in European contexts and improve their knowledge of foreign languages. By working intensively with our partner organisations, in particular by exchanging information on the current needs of the various national youth groups, we promote close European networking. These needs are taken up with our project and together - with 4 international partners from the European youth sector - solutions are searched for. the decisive thing here is the word: together! Small, fine sequences of real approach/acceptance are created, applicable structures - which are very valuable.
