Young people form the future and determine the world developing trends, society puts lots of hopes and responsibility to young people concerning the future. At the same time in the age of globalization and technology young people all over the world face common challenges and youth unemployment is one of the most significant. The huge amount of unemployed youngsters and the alarming speed it grows show the necessity to solve the problem, which definitely has a great social, economic, political impact on local communities in certain specific ways and overall population in general. According to statistic studies the problem is actual for European, Asian, non-European countries and has own peculiarities: it is more vivid represented in rural communities where increasing migration to urban areas around the world means a higher concentration of rural poverty. One of the possible solutions for this problem is supporting and developing Youth Entrepreneurship that offer economical, cultural, social growth in various spheres. Unfortunately, there is not a variety of programmes that support young entrepreneurs and offer sustainable backing. The project “Empowering Entrepreneurship for YOU-th” is aimed to provide the space where young people with the help of non-formal education tools will exchange their experience in entreprise and learn more: how to develop the idea to business plan, promote the product or service, how to use personal resources and attract community resources etc. Project Objectives: - Exchanging participants experience in sphere of youth entrepreneurship on local, national and international levels through using methods of non-formal education; - Developing the sense of entrepreneurship among youngsters, improving business skills and competences; - Increasing the awareness of young people on market trends, ways to develop, promote and advertise their products/services; - Changing of the approach to the phenomenon of youth entrepreneurship with the help of non-formal education and individual approach; - Development the set of social skills of the participants (active position, confidence, adequate evaluation of oneself and one’s abilities). - Promoting the idea of healthy and active lifestyle, raising tolerance to outdoor activities. The project will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, between 12-23 April 2020 and will gather 40 active youngsters from 8 project and partner countries. Armenia stands on the beginning of European transformations but on the same time illustrates how the problem of youth unemployment is represented and which steps can be done for innovative entrepreneurships that involve young people as main actors. The youth exchange will include such main topics as open education, life learning education and peer-to-peer learning, active and healthy lifestyle, youth involvement for global problem solving, learning by doing, soft skills developing, entrepreneurial. Due to activities on open non-formal education participants will develop such qualities and skills as creativity, communication, leadership qualities, self presentation, cooperation. In practical exercises participants will get and practice business skills, digital and marketing skills. Participants will develop and spread their knowledge about mindset. business opportunities, will share ideas of youth involvement on local levels. All participants will be stimulated to active cooperation inside group and local community, group outdoor work will advertise healthy and active lifestyle.
