Objectives

In many countries across Europe, the integration of migrants into society encounters many obstacles and barriers that are created by society and social ordering. The integration of migrants into society is a complex process. Successful implementation of this process requires a longer period of time and a proper definition of working methods for a simple and easier adaptation of these people in the social life of the country where they migrate. The process of integrating migrants into society can face many barriers and inadequate real-life situations. There are also a large number of migrants who continue their studies in EU countries and are targeted at racial convictions. These phenomena are not of anyone's common interest and can only cause conflicts and negative consequences. Large support and assistance to migrants is needed. This controversial issue is quite current for many decades, especially in Western Europe. However, the public is poorly informed about this issue and is not sufficiently informed. A number of studies show the true picture of assistance and work with migrants, as well as their active involvement in society. The use of migrant assistance is divisive in 2000 in order to strengthen the social agenda for the protection and economic integration of migrants in society. Several European studies on human rights protection show that migrants in emerging societies have enormous problems such as limited approaches to active participation in society and barriers in the process of using social services and social protection. But these expert analyzes indicate that the non-governmental sector can play a major role in assisting migrants and their adaptation to active society. In order to inform youth volunteers and NGOs about the barriers and problems of migrants and their adaptation to society, a program has been developed that is described in this application. This youth exchange provided an opportunity for presentation of models for working with people from vulnerable categories (target category: migrants) supported by non- governmental organizations. By presenting EU policies and EU values, all participants in this youth exchange gained new experiences and learn new methodologies from other participants. The exchange of intercultural knowledge, practices and opinions will encourage young volunteers to actively participate in the work of the NGO sector. Applicant organization of this project, together with partner organizations, has analyzed and evaluated new numerous challenges and ideas that can be implemented through realization of project activities. At the beginning of the presentation of the idea of this project, an assessment was made of the possibilities, capacities and needs of all 6 partner organizations. The conducted assessment was conducted online and showed that 58 % of the respondents need to improve their knowledge and learn something new, and same to learn how to work with people with cultural differences, special with people from migrant families. The objectives of the YE: -promotion of quality work with young people and people with fewer opportunities (migrant background), as well as improvement of the personal characteristics of the participants, as well as improvement of organizational capacities of the organizations through interactive cooperation- conducting a transparent process of cooperation between coordinators, volunteers, group leaders a through active cooperation and exchange of experiences, opportunities, models and ideas - conducting an analysis of the needs and expectations of the volunteers, the leaders, the coordinators with the realization of the program and the assessment of the defined and implemented activities. Identifying program weaknesses and shortcomings according to defined activities - presenting and setting ambitious, clear, measurable goals for fulfilling the tasks of the program. Concession for the participants and their easier and effective adaptation in the intercultural environment for development of competences and their adaptation according to the new knowledge - active support in the processes of integration of the participants, leaders, coordinators, participants from other institutions in the youth exchange, who are mutually recruited in cycles hosted by the applicant organization with assistance from partner organizations - implementation of the program of youth exchange and as well as assistance to young people with fewer opportunities (migrants) in the process of learning new tools, skills and working models- actively monitoring the development of the project as well as its implementation, evaluation of the activities in all areas of implementation and active promotion of the project activities in several phases with an already deferred model
