The main goal of the project is: - To foster intercultural sensitivity meant as the development of the skill of recognizing and living in contact with the difference (Milton J. Bennett). Out of the main goal of this project, we want to achieve the following objectives: - To support the understanding that the attribution of meanings to behaviours and events is depending on each one’s cultural and personal patterns. - To look at people and at situations as opportunities instead than obstacles. - To improve the competencies needed to choose consciously different cultural lenses according to situations and to people, to TRANSFORM our worldview opening it to concepts coming from other cultures. - To TRANSFORM the local environment where the exchange will take place, as well as the local environment where the participants come from by increasing intercultural sensitivity, openness towards differences, inclusion and acceptance - To provide concrete practical opportunities to meet, experience and interact with diversity in order to overcome stereotypes and prejudices, to create empathy, openness, positive vision, cooperation and support in everyday life. - To increase competences relevant for the employability of youngsters in a multicultural environment, to empower cross-cultural communication skills, facilitate the access to job opportunities abroad and to youth international mobilities. - To increase competences relevant for personal growth and employability of youngsters related to media and social media. - To provide safe space for the participants to share ways to combat discrimination, to promote and disseminate a culture of inclusion and cooperation beyond borders with a sustainable win-win strategy.
