Objectives

This project represents the serious of different project activities in it and as it have different objectives where one common is to increase human rights education of young people by using music as a tool. By using the non-formal approach in human rights education we had stimulated youth participation, education, creativity and support them to express themselves artistically while in the same time addressed various topics regarding the human rights. At each project activity we was taking care to focus a bit more on current popularity of topics related to human rights what in the period of the project implementation had vary a lot. Another segment of the project was focused on project cycle quality improvement what was necessary since we implementing it in different form since January 2014. The youth exchanges at the project had proven once again that music is a particularly good way of bringing people together and motivating them to think, create and act together. Music as a tool for understanding and multiculturalism is so strong that it builds bridges between different socio-political, backgrounds, overcomes language barriers and connects people from different social, cultural, national, educational and age backgrounds. We were able to experience all this during the previous projects and also to see that the messages communicated by the various music groups from projects are strong and positive and reach other young people as well and that it had prevailed during the pandemic time. Through our project methodology by using music as the main tool, was focused on stimulating youngsters’ participation, education and creativity and get to express themselves artistically, but also spread consciousness about various topics that currently concern all young population in contemporary society and post-pandemic times. As an addition to it, participating groups at the project, by age are as well very diverse 15-30 years old what had given us again the possibility to do and see the positive impact of the multigenerational education approach. The first activity of the project was pre-COVID and it was focused on the development of methodology, impact, education, participation, based on our partners and previous projects participants experiences through a seminar while in the same time we had discussed our MFHR KA2 project. With participants initiatives, working groups where created and we had worked on and finalized documents which define internal communication at the project, way of conducting, project info, partners information etc what we had used after project and what had become general project understanding and quality standard. The seminar was crucial point of working method for achieving these goals. The second and third activity needed to wait for implementation regardless of it planed phase due to the travel restrictions yet it goal and focus had stayed the same: we was focused toward youngsters with fewer opportunities and had promoted among them an intercultural dialogue between the different countries participating and actual human rights situation. In our project the values of tolerance and freedom, the esteem for human rights as well as the wish to avoid the radicalisation of our young, are constantly intrinsic. Through the job shadowing activities we wanted to achieve anther goal as a the activities were focused more on project management, open youth work and fight against radicalization of young people, fitting therefore to the annual priorities and work on critical thinking. It had helped us as well in escorting international project which where hosted during job shadowing with non-stopping of open youth work activities in project hosting places.
