Objectives

This project wanted to bring Europe closer together and show that there are countless possibilities that are still not known to many young people. We wanted to achieve this by bringing many different NGOs from Anguilla, Aruba, the Canary Islands, French Guiana, Martinique, Sint Maarten, The Netherlands, Greece, Germany, Romania, and Croatia together to create new projects and opportunities for their youth. By meeting in Germany and exchanging ideas we hoped to inspire each other and create projects/mobilities together, to form new partnerships and cooperation opportunities. The objectives of the project were: 1. to design and create at least 5 youth exchanges/training courses and 5 volunteering projects that will be applied in Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. These project ideas needed to be based on the needs and desires of the youth every partner works with. 2. to exchange best case practices and learn from each other 3. to get to know Europeans that live in very different realities from ourselves thereby increasing the pride of being a European citizens 4. to get more familiar with the opportunities of Erasmus+ and ESC 5. to increase and strengthen our partnership network and to develop new partnerships The original plan was to give big attention to solidarity projects in order to involve young people in doing good things for their local community and society.
