"Welcome, Wilkommen, Bienvenue 2020" (WWB2020) was a youth-exchange with the theme "don't hate - celebrate", which according to EU's main focus of 2019 on inclusion and prevention of radicalism did work on creating friendship between participants from 7 different countries and on finding ways to prevent radicalism in general. The project was a follow-up on a WWB-2019, and the application was, as the project-number (2019-3-DK01-KA105-074730) indicates submitted in 2019 expecting to implement WWB-2020 primo August 2020 as a part of the festival in the culture-house "Kulturfabrikken" in Nykøbing F. Covid-19 made this impossible and in 2022 WWB-2020 couldn't be postponed even more, and as meanwhile KulturFabrikken had changed their festival-concept, we decided to implement the project at Vordingborg Youth Hostel, where we 14-21.10.2022 brought participants together from both north, south, east and west of Europe. Many different backgrounds and cultures were represented in WWB-2020: - the Nordic (and West-European) with Finland and Denmark - the East-European former communist-countries with Latvia, Lithuania and Poland - the South-European with Italy and Portugal but besides these there were also participants with for example roots in China, Somalia and Angola.
