The project entitled ‘Sustainability Loading’ aimed to increase environmental behavior and knowledge on sustainability among young people coming from 7 Partner organizations: 1. Copenhagen Vibration - Denmark 2. ASOCIACION AMIGOS DE EUROPA – Spain 3. High on Life – Italy 4. Youth Workers Alliance - Serbia 5. YOUTH COUNCIL NEXT GENERATION SKOPJE – North Macedonia 6. ADEL Slovakia – Slovakia 7. YOUTH SEASON ASSOCIATION - Turkey The project was brought up by young people who have participated in ecological actions such as ‘Fridays for Future’ and they created the project intending to reach the following objectives: 1. To increase youngsters' knowledge about sustainability: the concept, the meaning; 2. To exchange good practices about sustainability focusing on young people; 3. To inspire participants to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle for the environment; 4. To promote the Erasmus+ Programme, project management and drafting of a proposal; 5. To support the development of new projects and initiatives with the goal to inspire young people to live a more sustainable and “green” life; 6. To strengthen the network among the involved organizations and create a ground for future partnerships; "Sustainability Loading" reflected the European strategy for 2030, which aimed for a more sustainable, inclusive, and smart development. This youth exchange was also consistent with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Program and the national policies of the partner countries. This youth exchange was particularly effective in promoting and developing the sense of initiative of the participants involved. The youngsters had the time and support to develop their own new ideas about ecology and sustainable development topics. We focused especially on developing the critical thinking of the young people and their active engagement in decision-making in order to work towards a more Green Future.
