The aim of the project is to raise young people's awareness of environmental issues, to give them tools to develop their documentary filmmaking skills and to promote social entrepreneurship. Through non-formal education methods and in a fun way, the participants acquired general knowledge about the environment and video making and the documentary format in particular. Afterwards, the participants researched and analysed, on their own and with the help of NGO experts, the main environmental problems. They also looked at possible solutions, both at the individual daily level and at the level of organised society. On the other hand, they were given tools to develop their skills in preparing, recording, editing and editing a documentary. Finally, they combined both skills in the elaboration of an ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTARY in which they will develop an environmental theme in a free way. During the activity, the exchange of experiences between participants from different countries was encouraged. This helped participants to learn about other ways of tackling environmental problems and to develop their teamwork skills. Through the production of an environmental documentary, the participants had the opportunity to express their opinions and to make known the solutions they have found to environmental problems. In addition, the active participation of young people in society was promoted through the dissemination of the environmental documentaries at local level and through the internet.
