The main objective of the project has been to improve the lives of the young participants and we have reached this by achieving different objectives. The first objective was to create bonds of friendship between young people of different profiles to improve social cohesion. In the case of the Spanish group, the participants with fewer opportunities were young people from migrant families and young single migrants, and a young refugee from Ukraine has also participated. These young people have fewer opportunities because they don't have documents, they can't study or work, they don't know the Catalan language, and they don't know people from the city. On the other hand, young Catalans have a negative view of these young people, because they do not know their stories well and have prejudices promoted by the media. Participating in this exchange has allowed them to get to know each other, break prejudices and make friends to improve the social cohesion of our city. At the international level, we also had the objective of fostering mutual understanding between different cultures. The young participants from the two countries have known different traditions, languages and customs, and we have learned from each other. The idea is to promote among young people the feeling of European citizenship and the feeling of belonging to something common that is the European Union. Another goal is youth participation. Empowering young people, so that they feel their project from the first minute, decide what they want to do and lead the activities. It is very important to promote youth participation and active citizenship of young people. Next objective was to promote healthy leisure among young people in their free time. In our case it was the training as free time monitors for boys and girls. We have worked on different disciplines such as theater, children's makeup, storytelling, art, etc., to be able to do these workshops for boys and girls later. Young people have been training in this field and what we intend is to awaken vocations and guide them so that they can pass the regulated training that will allow them to work in this field. In the case of young Finns, as they are participating in a Boy Scout organization, they can already apply this training with the boys and girls of their organization. Another objective has been to learn from each other educational methodologies of the two organizations, group dynamization, logistics, etc. Also giving an international dimension to our projects makes more young people know us and gives prestige to our organization.
