Majadas City Council is a local public body that offers services to all groups that are part of its community, with the intention of providing an effective response to the demands demanded especially by the youth of our municipality. It is necessary to offer young people means with which they can acquire values, personal and professional growth, provide them with information about issues in which they are involved, compensate for deficiencies and neutralize the negative stimuli that are generated in them. The actions directed towards the group of young people are necessary elements, in order to offer a space to young people where they can spend their free time, while offering them a meeting place, non-formal education and relationship. Through this project, our organization is trying to awaken the critical and supportive awareness of young people, in addition to breaking stereotypes and prejudices that they have towards other cultures, we want them to participate in an awareness process that leads them to seek real solutions. , from a dynamic process, by carrying out integration activities of a stable nature. Our organization is very sensitive to giving opportunities to the group of young people focused on a healthy life, away from anything that may have negative influences on them such as alcohol and drugs, in addition to giving them the opportunity to feel much closer to Europe, breaking stereotypes and prejudices. Youth exchanges are very necessary so that the young people of our locality can have some training, cultural and educational activity, since they do not have the same opportunities as those young people who live in larger localities, because they do not have sufficient economic means to to access them. The objectives have been mainly: 1. Improve the level of skills and key competences of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, and promote participation in democratic life in Europe, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity, in particular by providing mobility opportunities for young people for learning purposes. 2. Increase the international dimension of youth activities, support structures for young people, promoting mobility and cooperation between the Union and the organizations involved. And the priorities have been: 1. Develop relevant and high-quality skills and competencies, especially those aimed at fostering socio-educational and personal development, as well as participation in social and civic life. 2. Social inclusion: carrying out actions that help address diversity and promote, in particular through innovative and integrated approaches, the appropriation of shared values, equality, including gender equality and the fight against gender-based violence, non-discrimination and social inclusion. We will also pay special attention to rural youth and their specific problems. 3. And environmental awareness and awareness: working on the rational use of resources, sustainability so as not to compromise the resources of future generations. And the promotion of healthy lifestyles. These objectives and priorities of our project have been linked to the objectives of the program, complying with the values of the Erasmus+ program. We have never forgotten what the objectives and priorities of the program were, always framing our project within them. Despite the undoubted technological progress, all the prestigious environmental reports have pointed out that the Earth and its resources are increasingly deteriorated. At the moment production is sufficient to meet demand, but estimates have shown that, for certain strategic raw materials , the picture may change a lot before 2030, and we are already seeing that price increases are inevitable. We wanted to work, train and make the participants aware of the unequal distribution, the scarcity of water, climate change, deforestation, the pressure on marine fish, fossil fuels, raw materials, the energy consumption of food in developed countries,... With our project we wanted to know these problems and find solutions.
