The main objective of One Step Beyond was to show the possibilities of non-violent actions in conflict resolution. We have transmitted to the participants the importance of being trained in non-violent communication and peace-building skills, a need that is more relevant than ever due to the current political situation in Europe. Youth workers are in a privileged position to transmit these skills to young people, who are an important part of the European population. The objectives of the project have therefore been: 1. Promoting peace-building skills through Nonviolent Action by studying historical cases with real impact. 2. To offer tools and skills to transform conflicts both on a personal and professional level. 3. To make participants aware of their role in society and promote responsible activism. 4. To build participants' competencies using non-formal education and values enrichment. 5. To enable participants to disseminate the ideas and knowledge acquired in the course to other young people.
