It seems increasingly clear to us that current consumption habits are leading us towards very unhealthy, monotonous and emotionally unstable lifestyles where young people, full of uncertainties, are having special difficulties in finding their place in an unstructured society. This causes that a large percentage of young people are unable to face their problems and overcome their adversities, since in addition, with the current lack of job perspective, the comfort and conformity of day to day prevents them from considering developing their own initiatives, ideas and / or personal and professional projects. That is why, with this project we want to empower youth (showing real examples) to create their own social entrepreneurship projects in the environmental field. Which do not require a large capital investment, since rural and urban waste is used to create new everyday useful objects. One of the examples is the upcycling (in Spanish supra-recycling), transforming waste into new objects of value. Thus, the objectives of the project are: 1. To promote the entrepreneurial spirit of young people through Upcycling projects. 2. To empower the participants by giving them the necessary training (theory, tools, techniques) to start their own project of Upcycling. 3. To provide them competences and training on social entrepreneurship in order to develop their own ideas and projects. 4. To encourage a healthy lifestyle, responsible and conscious consumption. 5. To raise awareness among participants about the real effects of our current consumption and life habits, creating a space for reflection and debate about sustainability. 6. To promote European programs such as Erasmus + giving a special focus to the development of youth initiatives.
