No country in Europe is punishing neither homosexuality nor transexuality. However, there are still legal regulations which are putting at risk the lives of LGBTIQ+ collective and which aren't protecting them from hate crimes or hate speech. Moreover, the last decade in Europe has meant a politics turn into extreme right, a fact that may cause a hostile environment to LGBTIQ+ collective. In this project we want to tackle the issue of LGBTIQphobia in the european context, especially those discriminations and violences faced by youth. The goal of this project is to raise capacity of youth workers from different european countries in order to take part and promote, especially through youth, the construction of a more inclusive society incorporating the perspective that defends the rights of LGBTIQ+ people and promotes volunteering as a tool to transform hate speech and LGBTIQphobia.
