The "Finestra Inclusive to Naples 2020" project of the LA FINESTRA NOU CIRC Association is a Youth Exchange whose axis is the Social Circus in young people from different groups at risk of exclusion. The promoting group is made up of circus artists with sensitivity and experience in managing Social Circus projects in the field of groups at risk of exclusion. This team is joined by young artists and fans of the Circus in Naples, with the same concerns and experiences in the Performing Arts as a work tool for Personal Development in groups at risk of social exclusion. Both groups have been supported by two associations with similar objectives: the LA FINESTRA Nou Circ Association (Valencia) and the Compagnia Elefanti (Naples). Each partner has contacted 2 associations of groups at risk of exclusion: former inmates, the Roma population, people with intellectual and sensory disabilities, and immigrant minors. All the participants are also young unemployed and have a similar percentage between men and women. These entities specialized in the youth field have served as a bridge and support when designing the project and later implementing it. The objective of the project is to contribute to the integration, employability and the promotion of the Personal Development of these young participants using the Circus as a tool rather than as an end. Through the Circus we contribute to the acquisition of knowledge, capacity development and adoption of attitudes that contribute to improving their integration, citizen participation, self-esteem, respect for diversity, etc... Both partners carry out Social Circus activities, teaching, practicing and creating circus numbers with young people at risk of social exclusion and people with intellectual disabilities.
