The project “Save the Earth – Save Yourself” is a youth exchange which addresses environmental issues, through artistic creativity. Making proper use of these tools we want to raise public awareness, related to environmental challenges in the European and local level. We'd like to implement the project because in the world the environmental problems still stay as one of the main issues. Despite the fact, there are lots of project addressing environmental problems. Still it is not enough and still, people who live in deplorable conditions need support and involvement in solving environmental issues. Which has harmful effects of human activities on the biophysical environment? 36 youth from Spain, Italy, Greece, Poland, Armenia, and Georgia will cooperate through different art workshops to achieve one common goal. The main objective of the project is to draw attention to the problem of maintaining a clean environment. During these 9 days of youth exchange, participants will have the chance to discuss current issues, share ideas how to preserve environment clean, to simulate simple steps that will help towards reducing the impact of negative factors, which is caused by counterfeiting of secondary raw materials. The YE will be held by participants and each organization will send six participants. The partners will manage to select the youth with deep motivation and willingness to be active in society. The partners will ensure that the participants will bring a positive knowledge contribution for themselves and for the organization as well. All conclusions, suggestions, and ideas of participants will be shown through a different style of arts such as video, theatre, art workshops with paper & plastic trash, bottles, reusing clothes, etc. The result of the project will include a final report - video, related to the problem of environmental degradation, which will be broadcasted to local media channels. Additionally, a short theater performance (flashmob), handcrafted creations from recycled materials, a photo exhibition which will be conducted by the participants of the project, will also be regarded as project's final outcomes. Thus, proper use of the project's outcomes will assist us to have more local people engaged in the recycling process, especially young people and will also disseminate our concerns and potential solutions about environmental degradation. All the participants of the project will realize that they are a part of Europe where each person is important for the well-being of the whole of Europe. Participants will gain new knowledge, skills and attitudes to improve their local youth work and the quality of their actions and organizational/network strategies. YE will be deducted to find out solutions to environmental problems by participating youth leaders and workers. During the project, the participants will develop the idea of cooperation and building civil society with European values. During the project the participants will have a chance to learn that they are able to do something just having the willingness to fight for the common cause. All the participants of the project will realize that they are a part of Europe where each person is important for the well-being of the whole World.
