Objectives

Several participants have told us that a large part of the youth (where many of them are included) does not value their own cinema and goes to other productions such as the North American ones. During the project, several european films will be screened and then discussed. There will be a space to talk about festivals and the current situation of European cinema. The first objective is: 1) PROMOTING EUROPEAN AND NATIONAL FILMS The participants want to acquire audiovisual skills, skills of great interest as "soft skills" in the current job market. That is why one of the objectives of this project is the creation of short films, advertising campaigns, documentaries and other types of audiovisual documents of short duration, where participants will rehearse from the pre-production process to the production/filming and final editing or post-production. Thus being aware of their potential and the infinite possibilities offered by these types of tools to communicate and change their reality. Our second objective is: 2)GIVING AUDIOVISUAL TOOLS TO THE YOUTH More than half of the participants come from situations of fewer opportunities. They want to prove to themselves that they are no less than anyone else, that they can work hard and learn like anyone else. That is why we have strongly linked the project with inclusion. We believe that through discussions with participants with the same problems and realities they will help themselves and give greater importance to their reality. We see this as a great opportunity to see everything in perspective and to make a real connection with others. In addition, the short films produced at the end are related to inclusion as a key theme, being our third objective: 3) TO DEVELOP SHORT-FILMS ABOUT INCLUSION AND BUILDING THE PROJECT AROUND THE PARTICIPANTS WITH FEWER OPPORTUNITIES.
